Delete your account

Two ways. Both erase the same things.

From inside the app

Open besteed and go to Settings (the gear on the dashboard).
Under Account, tap Delete account.
Read what goes, type ESBORRAR, and confirm.

Without the app

If you no longer have besteed installed, write to privacitat@besteed.com from the email address of the account. We will delete it and confirm by reply. It takes up to 30 days, and usually much less.

What is deleted

Your account and your session on every device.
Any cloud backups you had.
Your notification tokens, so your phone stops being woken up.
Your place in your household. If someone else lives there, the household carries on and passes to them; if you were on your own, it goes with you, and so does everything shared in it.
The link between you and any crash reports. The technical trace stays, with nothing that points to you.

What stays

Everything on your own phone stays on your own phone. If you want that gone too, uninstall the app when you are done. And it cannot be undone: there is no way to bring an account back.
